Now that our classroom is fully open and looking very pristine in the natural light from the near floor to ceiling windows, new personal sewing tables, each with its own sewing machine. Whether it’s a sewing, quilting or embroidery class, each work shop has its own project specific machine ready to start and stitch.

It’s now time to let the creativity and imagination of the City & Guilds tutors into our new classroom so they can do their stuff! This usually involves pins and thread ends all over the lovely new carpet ….. not that that is a real problem.

Three main class sessions covering all aspects of sewing, quilting and machine embroidery.
Quilting Drop-In Session

The increasingly popular drop in sessions are great whether you’re new to patchwork,  in the middle of a project, wanting to learn a new skill or even just to meet other fellow patch workers… the drop in sessions are suitable for all levels. There is no commitment to paying for a term you just turn up as and when you can. Your experienced tutor will be on hand throughout to give advice and guidance as well as being able to help each other. Tea and coffee is provided.

Quilting Project Courses
We run many quilting courses, lasting a couple of hours per session, where you can learn a particular technique or start a project that may last a few weeks… I don’t mean the tutoring will last weeks...! Project courses may be once a week for a 2 or 3 hour session that may last for several weeks..!

Embroidery
Expert tuition and workshops from the manufacturers themselves …. Pfaff, Janome and Brother. Ofcourse we’ll be using the very latest embroidery machines with digitizing software. These courses fill up very quickly. Keep a look out or phone for information about our next project day in machine embroidery. Keep a look out in our store or surf back to the workshops category of our sewing blog for updates on all our classes.
