EX DEMO Janome MC9900 Embroidery Sewing Machine
**EX DEMO EMBROIDEY/SEWING MACHINE**
Why choose the Janome MC9900 from us?
While courier companies are making every effort to deliver within a standard operating time frame, this is not always possible. Deliveries may be delayed. more info.
An EX DEMO quality embroidey/sewing machine. This Memory Craft 9900 Machine from Janome, is ready to start sewing straight from its box. It has been tested and is covered by warranty. It is the next big step in the Janome large bed machine range. However this one does embroidery!
It has been designed to bring together all the best features from the quilting and embroidery machines into one MC9900 sewing machine. As usual you get the precision stitching which every Janome offers. The Colour touchscreen enables easy navigation and design layout or manipulation. Its uses the compact embroidery system as on other Janome machines. This means it takes up less space when embroidering designs up to nearly 7" x 8" size. Fold away embroidery arm then use its long bed for quilting.
The embroidery unit is slim and like the Memory Craft 12000 sits at the back of the machine, minimising the space needed to use this fantastic machine. And though the embroidery unit is very easy to attach and detach, you can leave it on when doing regular sewing. In fact, you might prefer the extra support it gives your fabric at the back. Most competing machines require you to remove their embroidery unit for regular sewing.
There's so much more to know about this superb new model so if you love sewing, embroidery, quilting, making home furnishing or craftwork, just check out the details below.
This EX DEMO embroidery/sewing machine comes with 10 different feet for you to create beautiful projects with. It has a straight stitch needle plate, embroidery hoops and many more accessories which are located in the storage compartment. The foot control and power are also included.
Unfortunatly, this machine does not come with it's origional box but is packaged very securly and is insured for transportation.
Don't you wish your machine knew a thing or two about sewing? The MC9900 has a Sewing Applications Menu, where you can choose the kind of technique you'll be using and the machine automatically will give you the optimal settings for your stitch, even recommending which foot to use. (Of course, you're always welcome to make any adjustments you like).

Although I haven't used the machine a great deal as yet (only had it a few days) I'm very impressed with it. It is quiet and smooth running. The manual is very easy to use and holds your hand through each process. I do struggle using the automatic needle threaded, probably me more than the machine. With the Digitizer software, that came with the machine, I have managed to embroider my sons company logo on his working shirts. There are so many features with this machine that I'm looking forward to using. This is a machine that would be suitable for dressmakers, quilters and home decor.
This machine is amazing. So easy to use and so many accessories too. Definitely the best buy I have made in a long time.
The best machine I've ever owned. It sew/embroiders/quilts fantastically and is the best purchase I'll ever make. The machine is quiet when running, looks the part and is a pleasure to use. The amount of stitches, patterns and features are impressive - not too many that you wouldn't use them. The 9mm stitch width is a definite asset. The display screen is clear and easy to use and beeps to tell you if something is wrong and the choice of face panels a quirky addition to suit your mood. Overall this is a viable machine in a competitive price range and I would recommend it.
I purchased my Machine in August 2013 - it sews/embroiders everything I hoped it would and more. It is quiet, lightweight for amount of work it is expected to do. The Computerised stitching is regular - choice of fabric indicator to assist. A good number of stitches to choose from. Clear data viewing with good window to view information. It will also advise if the programmer tries to program something incorrect. This machine comes with a good number of feet to aid decorate sewing etc. Love the choice of panel colour to fit the users mood. I have 3 other sewing machines and 1 other embroidery machine at my house, but would thoroughly recommend the ease of use with the Janome MC9900. All I need now is more free time to use this quiet, wonderful sewing/embroidery machine.
I love love love this machine, I moved from a different brand of sewing/embroidery machine to this Janome and I am so pleased I did.
The stitch quality is fabulous so for that reason it was worth the change over from the other machine.
The 9900 is very sturdy and as it has a permanent home on a large desk I leave the embroidery unit attached, as yet I've not tried ordinary sewing on it as I have other sewing machines.
All in all, very happy and a good buy with fabulous service from Sewing Machine Sales.
This is a fantastic machine. Wonderful straight stitch and although this is not advertised as a quilting machine it is the best machine I have used for fmq. The machine itself feels sturdy and runs quietly even at top speed. The screen is large and easy to use. I have not found anything I dislike about this machine and I would highly recommend the Janome 9900 whether you are going to use it for sewing, embroidering or quilting. As always excellent service by sewing machine sales.
This machine has got it completely right. It has just enough bells and whistles to make it a dream to use, but not so many that the price goes through the roof or you are left with a lot of functionality you just don't use.
Pros:- Very quiet, easy change needle plate, good selection of stitches up to 9mm wide. Lock off function, to lock off stitches but without going backwards and forwards, large foot controller give more control and comfort. The list just goes on!
Cons:- Very few, but it depends on what your needs are, it does not have the longest space between the needle and the machine (not as long as the horizon for example) but it is a decent amount and I can with little manipulation quilt a full size quilt on it. Only two hoops, but they are fairly large.
Accufeed:- This machine does not have the Janome built-in dual feed system, is that a con, in my opinion, no. I had a machine with the built-in dual feed and I found it got in the way. I would much rather just attached a walking foot when I need to.
All in all if you are looking for a sewing/embroidery machine that is well made, has all the functionality you need as opposed to that which you might like and is reasonably priced, then I would recommend that you go for the MC9900
