I have several old knitting machines which need servicing and may perhaps need parts. Do you offer this service?

We have been repairing sewing machines for many years (50+ years) and yes, we also service knitting machines. Our workshop is based in the north east of england, in fact, Whitley Bay in Tyne & Wear. We offer full support of all the Silver Reed models, and limited support for Brother and Toyota knitting machines as long as the parts are still available. Brother stopped manufacturing knitters and their parts in the 90', and Toyota stopped 10 years prior to that.

Our knitting machine knowledge stems from being an authorised Knitmaster and Brother knitting machine dealer when they first became extreamly popular in the early 80's. Personally I can recall my engineering training started with the Brother KH830 and then traveling down to Kingston-opon-themes for a week of intence learing the engineering behind the range of Knitmaster (now Silver Reed) models, the SK700 was my particular favorite to work with.

However, yes we can servce almost any knitting machine

• Silver Reed/Knitmaster, no problem for most models.
• Brother as long as we can obtain any parts as required.
• Toyota, we are also happy to service them, subject to serviceable items being available.
• Sorry it is not posible to repair the Singer 2310, 600 and 400, or the Passap knitters anymore.
