The Bernette Funlock B42 is a superb cover stitch machine, ready to produce a professional finish to seams, hems and cuffs, particularly when using stretch and knitted fabrics, with three different cover stitches and a chain stitch.
Use 4 threads and 3 needles to sew coverstitch options which are 2.8 and 5.6 mm wide and of course a straight chain stitch.
Handy storage space, small accessories can be stored in the flip down front cover.
It is quicker to thread up than an overlocker, this B42 has coloured pathways to follow while threading.
The needles and loopers could not be easier with the separate needle threader and looper threading mechanism, and the colour coded thread paths take all the stress away.
A bright LED light is there to help when needed, which gives you a crisp, bright view of your project, and an unobstructed view of your sewing project.
The differential feed is a huge help to control stretchy, knitted fabrics through the feed dogs, preventing puckering and slippage. A differential feed is a game changer when needing to stitch lightweight stretch materials like Lycra.
