Juki MO-654DE Overlocker

This Juki model has the added advantage of adjustments for stitch length with-in easy reach via a dial on the right of the machine. Just below as the image show you can also see the adjustment dial for setting the differential feed ratio.

Another addition is the safety cut-out which is actioned when the front access flap or side cover is left open. For safety the machine will not run if these are left open.
Tiny, neat 1.5mm rolled hemming is simple, slide the lever on the needle plate, remove one of the threads, personally I would shorten the stitch length and rolled hem away!

As, I’m sure you have already read from our other Juki pages, Juki has a history which started when it was manufacturing industrial machines. This machine is no different, it has upper and lower loopers that are industrial strength for durability and handle a full range of decorative threads. It also has an invaluable lower looper threader.

Lighting is above the foot and needle. The Juki 654DE has a multi-function foot, it can be used for regular 2, 3 or 4 thread overlocking as well as for inserting tape in to a seam. The small guide on the foot can be adjusted so the tape is sewn under the overedge stitch as the machine is being used.

Differential feed to ensure that you always have a perfect flat seam. The Juki 654de differential feed also gives you the capability to gather soft lightweight fabrics and give you a lettuce leaf edge on different texture fabrics.
