We can service or repair your Scanncut. You can book a repair or service and arrange to have your ScanNcut collected, repaired, and returned to your door from this page!

We are trained engineers in the repair and service of the Brother Scan N Cut cutting machines. Look no further for help when your cutting machine develops a fault or is ready for service. Our knowledge helps us identify specific problems quickly, which enables us to action our team of cutting machine engineers to carry out any repair or service at a very keen price.

All our repair/service work is fully guaranteed and our engineers have been trained by Brother.

The cost of repair/service is £68.00 (including VAT), plus parts. You can also, book a collection and return to your door from this page.

We repair all makes of any age and any condition.

HOW DOES IT WORK

  • 1. Use this page to book a collection day.  Please pack the cutting machine securely and give us 48 hours notice of collection day (We do not collect or return on a Saturday or Sunday).
  • 2. Once we receive your cutting machine in our workshop and have inspected it, we will call you with an estimate for the repair, including any parts if needed.
  • 3. If you give us the go-ahead, we will repair your cutting machine and call you again to take payment for the repair. Also at this time, we can arrange a return day.

Full terms and conditions

We would ask that you pop a note in with the machine to explain the fault and also, if possible a sample showing the problem.

Please also send the power lead, cutting blade, and cutting mat with the machine. These items are required to allow us to fully test before return.

Our usual repair turnaround is between 7 - 10 days after receiving the machine in our workshop, dependent on parts availability.

If you decide to not go ahead with a repair, we will return the machine to the address first provided.

If you have not allowed a minimum 48 hours for us to book your collection we will inform you as soon as possible for another convenient date for collection.

Repair/service warranty covers only the items we have replaced or repaired.

If we arrange collection and you are unavailable for the collection or you do not allow the courier to collect as agreed, you will be charged to rebook the collection.

If you have booked a collection and wish to cancel you must inform us 2 working days before the intended collection date, this is to allow us enough time to cancel the request with the courier company being used so that no charge is paid. If you don't notify us 2 working days before collection we can still cancel the collection request but it will be to late to cancel this with the courier company and it will be charged a minimum charge of £11. 

It is very important that the cutting machine is packed securely for transport by the carrier to prevent any damage in transit. In its original box with the original packaging. It is your responsibility to ensure the machine is packed enough to provide adequate protection while in transit. If we arrange either a collection or return, we are unable to insure the machine during transportation unless it has been packed sufficiently in its original box and original packaging.

Please see below for a good example of how to pack your Scanncut for transit if you no longer have the original box and packing. If your machine is delivered to us and on initial inspection is deemed by us to be insufficiently packed and it has received damaged in transit as a result of poor packing, neither ourselves and/or the courier used for the collection can be held responsible and we will be unable to claim for any damages, this may also increase the cost of repair and in the worst case scenario may damage your Scanncut beyond repair. So we ask you please to ensure you take sufficient time and care to package your cutting machine securely for its journey.

On the return journey, we will use the same packaging as you first provided. We are not responsible for any damage due to the packaging not being substantial enough to protect the machine during transport by a carrier.
