Using the BERNINA Stitch Regulator opens up further quilting techniques, not only will you free-motion like a pro, you can select one of the 3 modes the BSR offers, mode 3 is perfect for basting the quilt pieces together, it can be set to stitch 2 or 4 stitches per inch and will hold multiple fabric and wadding Layers together, before even thinking about starting any free-motion blocks.

Use the KickStart function of the foot control and settings on the touchscreen to set the machine to sew at a constant speed without needing to keep pressure on the foot control. It can leave the user with a more relaxed quilting session, particularly on longer stitching periods.

Use Pinpoint Laser to precisely mark the exact needle entry point on the fabric for every needle position, ensuring accurate sewing or embroidering.

ADT is used, once the tension is set according to the fabric and thread used, the thread tension is constantly monitored and adjusted automatically, if needed, resulting in the finest Swiss stitching.

It offers 1858 built in stitches, that count includes lettering. Each pattern is preprogrammed, but can be adjusted, or combined and saved to memory and most can be sewn at a speedy 1000 stitches-per-minute, or sewn at a very slow pace. The needle has hammer mode when needed for banging through thicker leather or denim.
