Automatic Under Bed Thread Cutter

One of the additional features found on the 360DC Limited Edition is the convenient under bed thread cutter. When you reach the end of a seam, simply press the scissors button and the machine automatically cuts both the upper and bobbin threads for you. You can then move straight on to your next section of sewing without having to pull the bobbin thread back up, saving time and giving your work a neat finish.

Quick Set Bobbin System

Setting up the bobbin is simple and requires very little preparation. Once the bobbin is in position, guide the thread through the channel in the needle plate and the integrated cutter removes the excess, leaving the correct amount of thread ready for sewing. This means there is no need to manually bring up a long bobbin thread before getting started. After sewing, the automatic thread cutting system keeps everything neat and ready for your next seam.

Presser Foot Safety Sensor

A handy built in sensor checks that the presser foot is correctly lowered before sewing can begin. If the foot has accidentally been left raised, the machine prevents you from starting. As well as being a useful reminder, this helps avoid thread bunching and tangles underneath your fabric.

The display is easy to see from your normal sewing position, while the streamlined front of the machine provides a good view of the needle and presser foot area – particularly helpful for detailed sewing and quilting.

Selecting a stitch is simply a matter of using the controls to choose the corresponding stitch number on the LCD screen. Each stitch comes with recommended settings already programmed, so you can start sewing straight away. When you want greater creative control, the settings can be adjusted to suit your project, with a maximum stitch width of 7mm and stitch length of up to 5mm.

Easy Top Loading Bobbin

The jam resistant top loading bobbin system is designed to make changing and monitoring your bobbin simple. It's transparent cover allows you to keep an eye on the remaining thread, so you can see when you're getting close to the end of the bobbin.

Removing the accessory compartment reveals the machine's free arm, making it much easier to sew smaller or tubular items such as sleeves, trouser legs and cuffs. The compartment also provides convenient storage for sewing accessories.
