A.S.R - Janome's Accurate Stitch Regulator
What is A.S.R.? It is perfect for quilt making and for adding free motion stitching to quilting blocks. Using the included ruler foot, or not, the stitch regulator detects the speed of your fabric movement under the foot and automatically speeds up, or slows the MC9480 QPC motor, which in turn allows each stitch to be a constant length for precise free motion sewing. Specialist feet are included for use with the A.S.R, Closed-toe, Open-toe, Clear view, and Ruler work foot.
Automatic Presser Foot Lift
The presser foot lift on the machine automatically lifts the presser foot after a thread cut. This feature can be set to raise at the end of any seam, with the needle in the down position for easy pivoting.
The MC9480QCP Has A Professional Grade Needle Plate
Utilize these narrow gauge industrial-type feet for curves and precise topstitching. They provide excellent ease of control and superior visibility. They are sized perfectly for creating 1/4" seams, achieving accurate stitches, and perfect starts on any type of fabric.
AcuFeed Flex

Cloth Guide
The cloth guide is a standard accessory on the Horizon Memory Craft 9480QC Professional. It snaps into the bed of the machine around the free arm and can be used even with an extension table attached. Use this guide to make perfectly even wide hems.
