Janome MC9450QCP Sewing Machine

Using one of Janome's largest frames this is a machine ready to sew any sized quilting project. It has all the computerised functions of the top model, but the MC9450QCP is without the ability to sew hoop embroidery like it's sister machine. However, there's unlimited options for free-motion embroidery using the included open toe foot, large plexiglas table and the correct sewing mode.

There are 350 built in stitches including 11 different style buttonholes plus 4 alphabets each has two sizes with both upper and lower case lettering. Using the touch screen to skip through and select the desired letters to sew names, phrases or "Made by.." branding can be saved in to the memory and restored at a later date if needed again. Many of the decorative patterns can be sewn up to 9mm wide. The high res screen is like a built in instruction and displays stitch fundamentals such as stitch length and width and also what foot to use.

You'll love being able to snip both the top and bottom thread at the end of a seam using the foot switch..! Yes's our MC 9450 includes what looks like a small foot control and lead which plugs in at the side just under the hand wheel. Use it with your foot to snip thread ends when needed, saves getting the scissors out.

The Superior Feed System (SFS+) has 7 points of contact on the feed dogs to ensure the fabric feed is as accurate as possible and even. The maximum stitch width is 9mm so the variety you get with decorative stitches in immense of which you can still alter the length and width to make them the way you want them. Further to all of that there is a whopping 91 needle positions allowing for tighter more accurate quilt seams.

A handy measure is printed on the removable sleeve arm, which also stores plenty of the accessories is a removable tray to hole individual presser feet. For larger jobs the MC 9450 QCP sewing machine also has a knee lifter and extra features such as setting the needle in the up or down position for pivoting.

MC 9450 has AcuFeed Flex which is a layered fabric feed system. AcuFeed Flex perfectly guides your fabric from the top while the 7-point feeds from the bottom. Perfect for quilts, plaids and any sewing requiring precise control.

PC Software included "Stitch Composer" Lets you create your own stitch patterns from scratch! The program is loaded on to a Windows PC and is easy to use. Transferring your new custom stitches to your machine is easy using the built-in USB port.
