6" Standard Curtain Tape

6″ (150mm) wide standard curtain tape is a very wide heading tape used at the top of curtains to create structured. It has 4 strings and is made in the UK from polyester/polyprop mix.

The 6" pocket standard curtain tape allows you to adjust the height of the curtain via a choose of 6 pockets for the hook.

It is to be sewn along the top edge of a curtain panel and has multiple rows of pockets for inserting hooks, allowing flexibility in how high or low the curtain hangs. The extra width allows for deeper and more defined pleat like:

• Pencil pleats
• Triple (pinch) pleats
• Or more decorative/custom pleats

This 6" tape offers strong support for heavier or floor-length curtains and gives a fuller, more luxurious drape. It is perfect for long, dramatic curtains or when you're using thick/heavy fabrics like velvet or brocade. It gives a high-end finish and more pleating options than narrower tapes and helps curtains hang better, creating a more tailored, upscale look.

It’s best suited for tracks or poles with curtain hooks.
