This is the clear plastic plate that covers the bobbin case. It clips into place and stops the bobbin from jumping out of position. Because it can be easily lost, maybe its best to have a spare in your sewing box..!< br/>

I lost the bobbin cover some time ago, and finally decided to look for a replacement.
After ordering from this site (I was very impressed with the price and easy online ordering), I received an email saying it was temporarily out of stock, then the same day I got an email to say it was on its way! A bit disconcerting, but good news all the same, lol.
It just arrived this morning, in perfect condition, and I am indeed, very impressed with the service I got. -
I dropped my bobbin cover on the floor and could not find it. Because of it's colour and transparency it was difficult to see. I found it later that day but had missed about 6 hours of sewing time. I purchased this identical cover as a spare in case I lose it again.
