This is the original Brother black plastic bobbin case. It may or may out has the felt wedge fitted. It is mainly for the newer A series sewing machine models as listed.
It is easily damaged by the needle hitting the plastic edge. Care is needed when fitting and it must not be a tight fit when in position. Remember the thread need to pass around it.
