3 groove Pintucks using a 4 mm twin needle in heavy weight fabrics and with a 3 mm twin needle in medium weight fabrics. Couching. 7 and 9 groove Pintucks in very fine wool or cottons (2 and 1.6 mm twin needles). Pintucks combined with decorative stitches. Embroidery with perle yarn or gathering with elastic or cord. Foot #30v is well suited for pintucking in medium weight fabrics, couching medium weight cords and yarns, and faggotting
The five precisely spaced grooves in the sole of the foot help guide each row of stitching by using the previous row as a guide
A seam guide can be inserted in the back of the foot for widely spaced tucks
Use the unique cord guiding hole in the needle plate of your Bernina® to produce corded pintucks effortlessly
Best used with a double needle up to 3mm
