This Bernina foot number 53v is perfect for all straight stitch work such as seaming, quilt piecing and topstitching, the non-stick sole slides over the fabric with ease, and helps stop puckering.
This foot is particularly useful when handling difficult or delicate fabrics such as charmeuse, fine silks, leather, vinyl etc. The shaft also has screw attachment for edge or patchwork guide fitment.
Use the edges of the foot for approximate 1/4" and 1/8" seam allowances.
This foot fits modern electronic models like Artista, Aurora, Virtuosa & Activa, up to the new B 300, B 400, B500, B700, B 800, and B 900 series models.
