Create neat, professional narrow hems with the Brother 7mm Narrow Hemming Foot. Its specially shaped design helps turn and guide the fabric edge as you sew, producing a flat, even narrow hem that is ideal for lightweight fabrics.
Although similar in appearance to a picot foot, the narrow hemming foot features a slightly wider and flatter groove underneath, designed specifically to form a smooth, beautifully finished hem.
How to Use: Begin with a short length of thread extending behind the presser foot. Feed the edge of the fabric into the curled guide at the front of the foot. Use the thread tails to help guide and support the fabric as you begin sewing, keeping the fabric edge feeding smoothly through the guide for an even finish.
Ideal for: Lightweight fabrics, garments, scarves, linens and other projects where a clean, narrow hem is required.
