Elna Open Toe Walking Foot With Guide
Helps prevent layers of fabric from shifting and slipping while stitching. Great for keeping quilt layers from shifting when sewing and keeping stripes and checks matched. Fabrics lie between an upper feed dog (on walking foot) and lower feed dog (on machine) to move fabrics simultaneously, preventing them from slipping.. hence it's sometimes called a even feed foot.
This Elna foot is mostly used by quilters while stitching many layers. The included quilt guide is used for patchwork and quilting techniques.
Delivered really quickly, easy to fit and works perfectly particularly for a beginner quilter! Thank you.
I am very glad I ordered this foot for quilting - it makes so much sense to have this extra help in getting 3 layers of fabric through the sewing area, and it seems to work really well.
Using the Elna open toe walking foot has made sewing my quilt so much easier, as it stops the top fabric from moving and puckering.
