I take my hat off to a kind gentleman who assisted me with an out of stock sewing machine today (28 Feb 2017). After speaking with him, he put may faith back in mankind. I wanted to spend my money with Sewing Machine Sales and no other company simply because I felt the team have been far friendlier, professional and have a kinder attitude than other online sewing companies. Not wanting to sound negative, but have been looking to purchase a sewing machine over the past two weeks and felt rather unsettled and intimidated by a couple of online companies who will remain nameless, but I'd found them quite dismissive of my needs and came across quite abrupt with their one word answer when you spoke over the telephone or liaised in their online chat room. Saddened to say the experience left me feeling flat with a heavy heart. Delighted this is behind me now!!! And what swayed me towards Sewing Machine Sales was a nice gentleman from the Newcastle branch who took time out to listen to my requirements and shared his experience and opinion on the best self threading machine for me. I didn't feel rushed or made to sound stupid for being a novice and beginner to this new arena of sewing. I have made my purchase today and look forward to the delivery of my first ever sewing machine ... Thank you ever so much Sewing Machine Sales ... I phoned Sewing Machine Sales in distress. The hinge on my precious Bernina foot pedal had broken. I was considering purchasing a cheap replacement machine but the technical team said I would not get the build quality of my current model. But, they could use 3D printing to mend my pedal! Such honesty and efficiency is rare these days. For a remarkably low cost I now have a fully functioning machine. I am so very pleased. If ever I do replace my vintage Bernina, I will come to this company. Excellent!

I wish to commend your company on being able to supply me with parts, and also you personally Christian, for your excellent / efficient customer service.I would estimate the sewing machine (Model R85) has been owned by my wife (who sadly died in July 12) for between 55/60 years. In that time it has done a massive amount of work regularly and upto recent times. I do not recall at any time in those long years it has failed. Recently, when the motor continually ran, I thought that's it, the end of the road for the treasured/family heirloom has finally come.For the sake of my wifes memory, I thought I cannot let dear "R85" die. A check on the internet, revealed your business name, I 'phoned you and from that moment, gloom was replaced with happiness. You immediately knew what the problem was, said you could supply the necessary replacement part and an order was placed.Following a very fast delivery service, the part arrived, I easily fitted it and hey-ho, dear old "R85" has a new lease of life. Here's to the next 55 / 60 years of active life, which I'm sure our daughter who inherited the machine, will enjoy ( at least I now know where to get spares/service.Thank you so much Christian

Really impressed, I usually only order from big household brands but Sewing Machine Sales had the best price and some great reviews on trust pilot. Everything was perfect from the order to delivery with lots of communication to update me on the order. Couldn’t have asked for a better service. I’ll be back :)
