This Hemmer 5mm foot is perfect for stitching a narrow hem, in medium weight fabrics. The foot comes in handy for projects such as napkin edges, curtains, ruffles, hems on hankies and scarves.
A good tip when using this foot is to thread the fabric through the foot using a pin to pull it through, before you attach the foot to the machine.
There is a diagram on the back of the packaging that shows how the foot will look whilst stitching and how the fabric will look.
