Its ok if you are are only sewing on one button, you may sew it on by hand, however, if you are making a dress that is needing more than one button, this foot can save you time and well as giving a professional stitched-on button look. The Janome Button Foot is quick and easy to use. It sews 2 or 4 hole buttons on to garments or jackets. It will even hold in place the large type buttons while the machine sews them in place. This foot has two bars that attach to the foot shank to provide extra stability and also has a textured, rubber sleeve to hold the button securely in place whilst sewing.
