Designed to use with quilting templates for ruler work. This special foot is adjustable for height and is spring loading for a better stitch quality.
The round edge of the foot is used as a guide against the quilting template allowing you to sew custom symmetrical shaped perfectly.
The key point of the foot is the ¼” cup height which moves smoothly alongside the quilting ruler without allowing the ruler to slide over or under the foot.
Or why not use this foot with a straight quilting template edge for perfect 1/4" seams, the options are endless.
The needle, hence stitching will always be 1/4" away for the edge of the template edge.
This high shank version is suitable for Janome Atelier and most Memory Craft models as listed.
