This genuine Janome large buttonhole foot allows you to create large buttonholes for a range of garments including coats and jackets.
This long buttonhole foot also comes with a stabilizer plate which again is something that is particularly useful for thicker fabrics as it feeds the fabric evenly to achieve neat buttonholes.
The standard buttonhole foot can only accommodate buttons under 1 inch in diameter (2.5cm).
The large buttonhole foot and stabiliser plate can create buttonholes for buttons that are 1 - 2 inches (2.5 - 5 cm) in diameter.
