This is a simple walking foot, suitable for most low shank sewing machines made by Singer, Brother, Janome, Toyota and other brands.
It is screwed in to place and the forked arm is located over/under the needle bar clamp screw. When installed it will help feed the fabric from the top, while your regular feed dog feeds the fabric from the bottom. Together you will have much improved fabric control.
This foot does not have the jagged feed teeth like the Singer walking foot #422342451 has. It has a smooth feed teeth to protect the fabric.
