Pfaff introduced the Free-Motion Echo Quilting Foot. This foot is designed to give you more control when free-motion quilting. The large base ensures good surface contact with the fabric, and has lines on the base for echo stitching with ease.
The Echo foot is designed to give you more control when free-motion quilting. The large base ensures good surface contact with the fabric and provides better control of the stitching. The transparent base allows for 360 degree visibility. Vertical, horizontal and circular markings on the foot make it easy to follow a continuous line quilting pattern or design on the fabric. Sew straight lines or follow patterns with rounded edges in any direction.
Note: When sewing in Sensormatic free-motion mode at a low speed the presser foot will raise and lower with each stitch to hold the fabric on the stitch plate while the stitch is being performed. At a higher speed, the presser foot floats over the fabric while sewing.
Neat idea the clear foot and markings greatly improve quilting accuracy.
the Echo quilting foot makes acccurate quiltinglines turn up perfectly nice and even, great tool for the quilter. fast delivery, easy ordering.
Wow. I had not seen an Echo Foot before until 2 of my friends from our Quilter's group, one with a Bernina and the other with Janome machines, were using them. I was unaware this foot was available for Pfaff machines, I have the Quilt Expression 4.2 I Looked online at Sewing Machines Sales and saw it and immediately ordered it. I have the normal open toe foot but the echo foot is something else. It gives you far more accuracy. This helps you to build up a perfect shape, with even lines and curves. Would definitely recommend the Echo Quilting Foot.
