This quiltiers 1/4 inch piecing foot, has been re-designed and its new improved designgives fantastic accuracy for your stitching. You will now have complete control over the width of the seam due to an improved slightly oval slot in the centre of the foot, to accommodate alternative needle positions.
The centre position gives a standard 1/4" (6mm) seam.
To get a perfect scant 1/4" seam, you have to move the needle two steps to the right.
For perfect 1/4" seams on thicker fabrics move the needle two steps to the left.
Sew a scant 1/4" seam allowance. Red lines mark 1/4" and 1/8" pivot points in front of and behind the needle.
