Quickly attach narrow satin ribbon, or attach strings of sequins to skirts of clothing. This foot is adjustable. It clips in to place, then you would adjust the guides using the small screw and set it to the exact same width as the ribbon you want to sew. As you sew this foot will guide the ribbon. It is far faster to sew slippery satin ribbon on using this foot, it keeps the slippery ribbon straight while sewing. You can also sew on sequin string using this foot.
Approx maximum ribbon size would be 10mm, and sequins would be 7mm.
