The needle bar and sponge hold the needles in the correct position while knitting. If the sponge becomes damaged or worn, you will get problems with dropped stitches and miss patterning problems. It is important the sponge is kept in good condition.
The overall length is 110 cm and is 10.8 mm wide. The sponge height is 12 mm.
This is the replacement for all Silver Reed chunky knitters with a metal bed and 9mm needle gauge, for example SR and SK150, SK151, SK155.
