At times the original hinge on the front looper cover becomes bent and out-of-alignment, if this is the case you would have problems lowering the front looper cover.
There is 3 parts and they are all metal. The hinge plate is attached to the overlocker body, while the shaft is attached (using the cir clips) to the front looper cover.
