A very important washer is needed to correctly space the threading cutting knife, to enable the knife to trim, both the top and bobbin threads correctly.
You may need 1, 2, or 3 of these washers to space the moveable cutting knife correctly to obtain the correct 0.03mm clearance.
It is very durable stainless spring steel.
