This universal needle, with a slightly rounded point but sharp, is made to fit all makes of sewing machine. With the shank of the needle flat on one side and rounded on the other, these needles can be fitted easily into your needle clamp.

The 80/11 machine needle is ideal for use on lighter weight fabric such as voile, chiffon, shirt material, poplin, taffeta and light weight plastic film.

If you use the wrong size needle beware...too heavy a needle will cause a large punture mark in a fine fabric, too fine a needle could bend or snap when sewing through thicker, heavier fabrics.
