This is the top/upper of the two blade that are used to trim fabric on Brother's 1034d overlocker, it is knife that moves...! We recommend changing both knifes at the same time to avoid the new knife blade from getting damaged or prematurely worn by cutting against the older blade. This replaces old part number: X77668001
