Use this attachment when you need to have elasticated hems for example on waistbands.
This attachment screws in to place. The elastic is inserted through the holding plate. A test sewing sample is always best as the thumb-nut can be adjusted so it will stretch the elastic more or less, to achieve your desired gather. You can use elastic from 3.5 mm to 8 mm width. The overlocker will sew the elastic to the fabric and will create a even fabric gather.
