This is the cording foot for most newer Janome overlockers. Two types are available.
Type A:
Is used for sewing clear fishing line on to net or other very fine materials. The fishing line is automatically sewn under the overlock stitch.
Type B:
Use when needing to sew heavy cord to prevent fabric stretch. This foot has a forward facing guide. The cord is threaded through the hole on the guide and under the grove in the foot. As you sew the overlock stitch the corder will be sewn in.
