The Gathering Shirring Foot is perfect for simultaneously stitching and gathering two layers of fabric. You can increase the gathering by setting a higher differential feed and adjusting the stitch length. This foot is most suited for gathering when sewing tiered skirts, yokes, cuffs and frills on skirts, etc. Instructions for using the foot are included in the package.
