Video - How to use the Pfaff Sew On Button Foot
Want to sew buttons onto clothing in seconds?
This is your go-to solution...
1. Mark your fabric where the button will be placed.
2. Insert the button between the black metal piece and the presser foot. Ensure the two holes are positioned in the cut-out of the presser foot.
3. Position your fabric and lower the presser foot. Select either the button sew-on stitch or zigzag stitch. (If using zigzag, lower the feed dogs.)
4. Adjust the stitch width to match the button holes. Slowly turn the handwheel to confirm the needle enters the left hole cleanly.
5. Sew it down!
- If using the button sew-on stitch, the machine will automatically stop when done.
- If using the zigzag stitch, simply sew across the button five times for a secure finish.
