Why choose the Baby Lock Ovation from us?
We only supply Baby Lock machines to UK customers, Baby Lock are not for International sales.
It’s not small like many other overlockers, but as one would expect with Baby Lock, you know it will be something special. The new Baby Lock Ovation may well revolutionise your overlocking. It uses the very latest innovations and you can overlock with 2 to 8 threads. Create exclusive wave stitch and reverse wave stitches.
The area under the arm is an incredible 5” which allows so much more space for fabric to run through than ever before on a domestic overlock machine. The Ovation also uses the air threading system that Babylock is well known for. ExtraordinAir threading, threads all the loopers in a breeze!
As one would expect with Babylock’s industrial heritage, this Ovation is smooth when being used and it can overlock at speed, in fact up to 1300 stitches per minute.
This 2-in-1 machine offers an amazing variety of 87 stitch options, both overlocking and coverstitch, chain stitch and wave stitches.

I bought this machine about a month ago and I love, love it. It is so easy to use and the extra space upfront is just great. The variable speed of sewing is great. I do feel however the plastic dust cover is cheap and tacky , I would have thought Baby Lock could have done better than this. A seam guide would have been good too-- none of my niggles detract from the quality of the machine ---it is a fabulous sewing tool
After using a serger/overlocker for 20 years I upgraded to the combined Serger, Cover stitch & Chain stitch of the Babylock Ovation. The 0% Finance offer made the product 'attainable' as mentioned by another this is a 'considered' purchase. I am still learning the product but I can think of no other machine that you could pull off the shelf very fine thin fabric and do a rolled edge with no fiddling of many dials to achieve the best result! Now all those sheer fabrics will get used! It is a bit 'mean of Babylock though not to include a 'waste' bin but that it must be purchased separately. I am not used to all the knife cuttings going everywhere. Could this be my 'last' serger/coverstitch/chain machine as I'll have no need for another?
Early February I needed a new serger as my babylock of 16 yrs was feeling tired, I decide on the new babylock ovation. I have been around sewing machines all my life they never stop amazing me on how far they have come and with this overlocker it is all the things that I would have put into a machine and more, yes it is a considered purchase, but if you are in the market for a reliable and multitasking serger this I would thoroughly recommend. I have had this machine since 15th February 2015 and can honestly say it worth every penny . So if you can go for it. I know you will love to too.
This is the best machine I have come across in a long time. The quality is superb, the ease of threading the many different combinations of stitches is unrivaled. So far I cannot fault it, I've only had it two days so still trying different stitches and techniques So far so good. I would recommend this machine to any avid sewing person I know it is expensive but well worth the money if you do a lot of sewing I sew every day so it will be well used. My next project is curtains for my newly built sewing room so will be doing a few miles of overlocking. So happy I bought this machine it deserves a
STANDING OVATION .
