• Safety LED Light - The warning LED lights if needed when the L 460 sensors trace an error, the light is on the front body panel 
• Safety Cut-off - A safety power cut-off switch senses if the looper cover is left open, or the sewing table is not full down in the ready to sew position, it also senses if the presser foot has been left up and will not allow the machine to start stitching.
• Kick-Heel - The L460 uses the same LV1 type kick-heel foot control of the 5-series sewing machines. It gives the L460 user infinite control stitch by stitch. Tap your heel on the foot control to lift or lower the needle one stitch at a time. Pressing the foot with your toe, as usual the machine speeds up in a very controllable way.
• Wide Sewing Workspace - Flip done the sewing table to extend the working space for overlocking larger projects like quilts or curtains.

• Differential Feed - Is a game-changer for handling tricky fabrics. The differential feed system moves the fabric layers at slightly different rates. Use it to prevents stretching on stretchy knits, it ensures seams don't become wavy or distorted. It also prevents puckering on lightweight fabrics like silk, it feeds the fabric evenly to avoid gathers or puckering within the seam.
