The BERNINA 335 is a computerised sewing machine with a colour screen and the legendary and original CB hook system offering a smooth top sewing speed of 900 stitches-per-minute, with a choice of 625 stitch patterns, including 3 lettering fonts, Block, Double Block, and Script with memory function. 
In fact, it has two memory settings, one short-term and a long-term memory of 256MB, enough to store pattern sequences or lettering combinations to sew works, names and slogans.

A selection of 8 automatic buttonhole types, with 29 utility stitches for overlocking, hemming, top-stitching, seams, edging and more. Plenty of decorative stitches also; in fact 125 in total. Yet, the B 335 is still lightweight and can easily be stored or lifted using its built-in carry handle.

We love using this model, it is simple to setup and select your desired stitch, many of the most used features are at hand and not buried deep in the screen's firmware, eg. needle position, stitch width and length are quickly available, as is the needle up/down button, and maximum speed setting, start/stop button and more. 

Buttons can be sized against the buttonhole selection on screen and set the button on screen to match your chosen button, pop the included #3A zipper foot in place and each buttonhole will be sewn to the correct size.

Option to use BERNINA Free Hand System (FHS) which can give hands-free sewing with the knee lift, to simultaneously raise/lower the presser foot and feed dog, leaving both hands free. Recommended for enthusiastic free-motion quilt makers.

It uses the BERNINA new electronic foot control, stitch slow and controlled when needed, each stitch gets full needle penetration power from the DC motor, even when sewing very slowly. But when needed, the B 335 can speed stitch for longer seams.

Threading is simple thanks to help from the built-in needle threader, and the horizontal thread holder can accommodate various sizes of sewing thread - there is also a vertical spool pin too.

The B335 differs from its little sister (B325). The 335 offers extra stitches, extra presser feet, the FHS, to raise and lower the presser foot and lower the feed dog at the same time, via the knee lifter. The knee lifter arm is an optional extra.  It also includes the buttonhole foot with sliding base, you can sew as many buttonholes as you want with exactly the same length. You choose the buttonhole length on the screen. To save time, use the Button Sew-On Program to stitch buttons in place.

It uses Swiss engineering to produce lovely stitches in a pleasurable way.
