Janome 360DC LE Sewing Machine

It's designed with versatility in mind, the Janome 360DC combines an impressive range of computerised features with the control and workspace that dressmakers and quilters will appreciate. Offering excellent functionality at an accessible price point, it is a capable all-round machine for everything from everyday sewing and garment construction to patchwork and quilting.

We have two options available: LE version or none LE

LE is short for Limited Edition, 360DC LE is the latest version and has three additional features over its non-LE counterpart.

1. Automatic Under Bed Thread Cutter
   You will notice an extra button on the front panel with a scissors icon; it is one of the additional features found on the 360DC LE (Limited Edition), the convenient under-bed thread cutter. When you reach the end of a seam, simply press the scissors button and the machine automatically cuts both the upper and bobbin threads for you. You can then move straight on to your next section of sewing without having to pull the bobbin thread back up, saving time and giving your work a neat finish.
2. Quick Set Bobbin System
   Just to the left of the metal needle plate is the quick-set-bobbin feature. Inserting the bobbin is simple and requires very little preparation. Once the bobbin is in position, guide the thread through the channel in the quick-set needle plate, and the integrated cutter removes the excess, leaving the correct amount of thread ready for sewing. This means there is no need to manually bring up a long bobbin thread before getting started. After sewing, the automatic thread cutting system keeps everything neat and ready for your next seam.
3. Presser Foot Safety Sensor
   A handy built-in sensor checks that the presser foot is correctly lowered before sewing can begin. If the foot has accidentally been left raised, the machine prevents you from starting. As well as being a useful reminder, this helps avoid thread bunching and tangles underneath your fabric.

You'll find 60 stitches including six one-step buttonholes, keyhole, round top, stretch plus no need to reversed stitch at the end of each run of stitching. Use the automatic lock stitch to tie off your threads at the end of your sewing. Must have time-saving features, including memorised needle up/down, one-hand needle threader, and lock-stitch button, to make sewing easy, plus 17 cm of sewing bed space for fabric to the right of the needle.

We use this machine a lot and find it sews with precision and confidence no matter what type of material you present it with, thick denim and leather or thin silk. When being used for dressmaking, buttonholes are sewn in one step at the touch of a button; you simply attach the button in the back of the foot, and hey presto, a perfect buttonhole to match the size of the button you've chosen. Now consider using this on the next antique Basque project needing 20 buttonholes...! Each buttonhole will be accurate and the exact same as the first.

To select a pattern, simply use the buttons to bring the corresponding stitch number onto the LCD screen; it will be pre-set and ready to sew out, however you have the option to adjust the width up to 7 mm wide and the length up to 5 mm.

Pull off the sleeve arm bed, which allows for tubular sewing tasks, it also incorporates a storage compartment for sewing accessories, needles, and spare bobbins.

It has a powerful DC type motor with extra needle penetration even at slow speeds; the Janome 360DC LE lets you sew across heavier fabrics or multiple quilting layers without any drama. Quilters will like its adjustable foot pressure to fine-tune the fabric feeding when stitching multiple fabric layers.

It also has the mock hand-sewn quilt stitch, a seven-piece feed mechanism, a drop feed facility, an automatic needle threader, and a sliding max speed control and comes complete with a hard cover to keep the machine safe when it is not being used.
