The J3 series from Janome offers 3 variants, this J3 24 being the top model. The built-in carrying handle makes it easy to lift and move onto a table, it has a front-loading bobbin case and easily converts to a free arm. For maximum protection against knocks, it comes with a hard plastic protective cover.

The Janome J3-24 can sew an automatically sized buttonhole in one simple step, straight stitch, variable zig zag stitch, or one of the other stitches using the stitch selector and choose the most appropriate stitch length and width. There are also 12 stretch stitches to choose which will help stitch awkward knitted and jersey materials. 

Threading is no longer a dreaded chore because the easy-to-follow numbered thread path gets you down to the needle where the built-in needle threader gets the job done in seconds.

It has 2 handy pull-up/push-down spool pins for twin needle stitching and ease of use for safe storage. And because there are 2, you can really be creative using twin needles and some of the decorative stitches. All this plus clip-on feet, a reverse stitch lever, a one-hand thread cutter, and a drop feed facility for free hand embroidery, make it a winner for any sewing enthusiast.
