Janome M50 QDC Sewing Machine

The computerised M series QDC by Janome includes 3 models. The M50QDC (Quilting-Decor-Couture) has quality, power, precision and reliability. Computerised functions with a sturdy yet light weight internal aluminium body that will last many years and give perfect stitching results.

For fashion the Janome M50 QDC sews beautiful keyhole buttonholes (No. 19).For quilting it offers the unique mock hand-quilting stitch ( No. 36) and for crafts a sewn scallop ( No. 42) plus many further stitches. Please take a moment and check one of our images showing the stitch options on the chart. Once the extension table is in position, the sewing bed extends to over 19", perfect for larger quilts or curtains.

The LCD screen is bright and informs the user of the selected stitch, presser foot, width and length. The main utility stitches are accessed via buttons on the control panel, straight stitch, zig-zag, overlocking and buttonholes. Other stitches are selected by bringing the relevant number on the screen. Each stitch is preset and suitable for 90% of it's uses, however, it can be adjusted, by width, length or density if needed for customisation.

Coming with 6 presser feet as standard, as an added bonus, we will include a quilting package consisting of specialist feet for working with multiply fabric layers. ¼” Seam foot, Stitch in the ditch foot, Open toe satin stitch foot, Walking / Even-feed foot, Quilting guide and Darning / Free-motion embroidery foot.

The Janome M50QDC was used on BBC TV show "Kirstie's Handmade Christmas", we cant say for curtain, but I guess they used it for it's robust reliability and ease-of-use.
