Just wanted to say a very big thank you for all your help in getting the spares I needed for my tailor's dummy. Pleased to say it's repaired and fully working. Special thanks to David McCreadie for all his help and emails. Not a criticism but considering they were dispatched on 1st June I didn't actually receive them until yesterday 8th June. Think Royal Mail is "snail mail"!!
I wish to commend your company on being able to supply me with parts, and also you personally Christian, for your excellent / efficient customer service.I would estimate the sewing machine (Model R85) has been owned by my wife (who sadly died in July 12) for between 55/60 years. In that time it has done a massive amount of work regularly and upto recent times. I do not recall at any time in those long years it has failed. Recently, when the motor continually ran, I thought that's it, the end of the road for the treasured/family heirloom has finally come.For the sake of my wifes memory, I thought I cannot let dear "R85" die. A check on the internet, revealed your business name, I 'phoned you and from that moment, gloom was replaced with happiness. You immediately knew what the problem was, said you could supply the necessary replacement part and an order was placed.Following a very fast delivery service, the part arrived, I easily fitted it and hey-ho, dear old "R85" has a new lease of life. Here's to the next 55 / 60 years of active life, which I'm sure our daughter who inherited the machine, will enjoy ( at least I now know where to get spares/service.Thank you so much Christian
