Dont waste your efforts by hand stretching and pulling elastic, hoping the elastic is evenly applied. Use this specialist foot instead.
Overlock with 2 or 3 threads to evenly stitch elastic directly to fabric using an overlock stitch.
Adjust the foot to accept 2.5 mm to 4 mm wide elastic.
Adjust the foot for the amount of stretch required depending on the elastic strength and width.
This is one of the most used feet on an overlock and it produces a fantastic professional finish.
This foot can also be used on the Bernette coverstitch B42.
