BERNINA L660 Overlocker

The BERNINA L660 is designed for sewists who want professional quality finishes combined with precision, convenience and ease of use. With the BERNINA Free Hand System (FHS), you can raise and lower the presser foot effortlessly using the knee lever while simultaneously lowering the feed dog. This makes it easy to position and remove your sewing project. The presser foot also swings to the side, providing convenient access to the needles. The 2 step presser foot lifter allows you to position even thick or multi-layered projects with ease, ensuring precise and effortless handling.

The foot control lets you sew one stitch at a time for precise results. Use the back kick function to easily raise or lower the needle. You can adjust the sewing speed with the slider on the front of the machine to take it slower for more precise overlocking or fast for zooming through. The presser foot pressure can also be changed to suit thin or thick fabrics. The dimmable sewing light helps you see your work clearly and the powerful DC motor gives you smooth and easy control while sewing.

With Micro Thread Control (MTC), you can easily adjust the amount of looper thread to create a neat, smooth fabric edge. You can change the setting at any time, even while sewing, to get the perfect stitch. The adjustable differential feed helps prevent puckering, even when sewing delicate or stretchy fabrics. There is a throat space of 4 1/2" (14cm) with a height of 3 1/4" (8.3cm) on the L-660 but if you need more space, use the extension table to add more space for projects using more fabric, simply click it into place and start overlocking.

Use the magentic tool holder located underneath the thread stand to hold and easily access your tweezers and snips. Your accessories come in a compact, organised box which can sit next to your machine at all times.
