Brother Innovis A50 Sewing Machine

With 50 stitches available at the turn off the electronic jog dial, you will be stitching straight out the box using this new Brother Innovis A50 sewing machine. It is computerised so each selected stitch is pre-set for optimum width and length, for example, selecting the scallop program needs no setting adjustments. The A50 automatically sets width to 7 mm and length 0.4 mm. Press the start button or use the soft start electronic foot speed controller and start stitching a decorative scallop along the fabric edge...it’s simple.

Threading is fast thanks to the advanced needle threader and quick set bobbin, which even cuts the thread end off to the correct length ready to sew...no need to do one stitch by hand like the mechanical models. A slide speed control limits the speed of the foot controller for those intricate tasks and whilst free-motion embroidering, choose whether the needle finishes in the up or down position using the lock stitch feature to tie off.

Simple touch button controls and large easy view LCD display offer easy and precise adjustment. Precise buttonholes are sewn in one step; the presser foot measures the button and sews the buttonhole to the correct size, wehether it be a key hole or stretch type.

Quilters will love the Innovis A50 because of the many quilting stitches and the ability to drop the feed for free-motion embroidery. It has specific patchwork and quilting stitches cleverly indicated on the stitch panel using a small (p) or (q) symbol. It still has the mock hand quilting stitch which looks really authentic.. (it's stitch number 15 on the A50). We can teach you about this technique, take my word for it, it looks fantastic and saves loads of time when quilting.
