Juki HZL-80 Sewing Machine

The latest version is the Juki HZL-80HP and it packs a punch when it comes to stitch perfection. Loading the bobbin is simple thanks to it being a top loader and full rotary action for smoother stitching and no thread jams. 

The HZL-80 uses the box fabric feed, which offers a more precise movement of the material as its being moved forwards or backwards. Also note the extra feed teeth directly in front of the needle plate hole, they also help pull/push the fabric to make for perfectly formed stitches.

Each stitch is pre-programmed with the correct settings ready to start and sew. But these setting can be overridden and adjusted as required. Adjustment width form 0.5mm to  7.0 mm and length up to 4.5mm.

The HZL-80 has the clever vintage hand-look quilting stitch (stitch number 04), plus many more quilting stitches to create any quilt. It even has 15 needle positions from left to right which helps while top-stitching or quilt making.

With 197 stitch selection there is no end to amount of creativity one can achieve. The single alphabet with memory includes uppercase and lowercase letters, numbers and punctuation. The memory can hold 30 characters and the user can view onscreen how much memory has been used.  Many of the decorative stitches can be mirrored.

The LED lights to illuminate the sewing bed. Plus the sewing bed is removable to give access to the sleeve arm as one of our images shows. It also doubles as a storage draw for feet and accessories.

Two handy pull out cards display all the stitches including the lettering stitch selections, this gives quick access to selection your desired stitch using the keys under the LCD screen faster. The screen also displays helpful information including which presser foot to use for the selected stitch.

The HZL-80 can be used with or without the foot control and one can use the max speed slider to limit its speed for novice sewers, stitching into corners or free-motion embroidery.

It has the electronic type foot control, which is very controllable even while stitching very slowly. The start /stop can also be used at any time, even with the foot control being plugged in.
