My Press has stopped heating up

Every Iroing press we sell has the EU kite mark, which means it has passed all kinds of safety tests.

One of the attributes needed to pass this test is the ability to switch itself off if left closed for too long.

So the situation may occur whilst ironing that the press would stop heating up.

May be the reason is that the press has been left too long with-out the handle being moved, hence the safety switch has cut the power off.

Or may be the user has been ironing so hard and fast and the jaws were closed a second too long that the press has shut down.

The auto shut-off function does not mean that power to the unit is totally cut off. Power is always on and the Power Indicator Light will remain illuminated until the on/off Switch is set to the off position.
