In use the first noticeable improvement over its predecessor is the large LCD screen which saves checking the instruction book over and over again, it even recommends with presser foot to use, but after selecting a pattern on the screen it is electronically formed and optimally setup for 90% of today's fabrics, but of course each can be adjusted both in length or width for real awkward sewing projects.

The Singer 9960 comes with a large assortment of specialty presser feet for most sewing operations perfect for quilting or home decor, these are stored in the removable sewing arm. Also, the Singer 9960 is aimed at quilters, it includes feet like the walking foot and 1/4" seam foot especially for quilters, it also includes a large quilting table and you can view from one of our images, which is essential for large patchwork projects.
