When threaded you put your foot down and you're stitch perfect, it even has a built-in swing into position needle threader, stretch, and overedge stretch stitches, even decorative stitches like a scallop or blind hemming stitch can be selected via the single dial. Stitch width and width can be adjusted for perfect top stitching on seams.

In total, there are 21 stitches including a buttonhole and overcast stitches. The machine feels rather sturdy and very robust indeed. The Smart grip dials for stitch selection feel very secure and precise. Did I mention that this machine also comes with a FREE perfectly designed hard protective cover and easy-to-reach functions like the external feed drop lever for darning and free motion embroidery.
