I had a nightmare with another online company who really messed me about, but after reading Trustpilot reviews about this one I ordered the same machine from here and as a bonus it was £70 cheaper. Plus, I could have got next day delivery for no extra cost but opted for a weekend delivery instead for an extra charge (given that I'd saved so much anyway). The service was excellent, and I was fully informed about where my machine was in the system and then when it was out for delivery. It arrived on time and I'm delighted with it - if a little intimidated as it's very technical and I'm not! I'll definitely use this company again and would highly recommend them to anyone else.

I have had in my possession for nearly 40 years and been the very proud owner of a Singer Steam Press - The Magic Steam Press CSP-1, as it is proudly labelled. I am 79 years of age, an ex dancer, producer, costume maker, curtain maker, toy maker and various other things that I have been able to use my all singing/all dancing delightful steam press (nickname: hotpress) to pursue a life of enjoyment all due to this beautiful machine. I have NEVER had to contact, plead for assistance, to maintain it. It has seen many new, homemade pads and pretty covers and an assistant help to its tired spring control on its left side (a block of wood). I could never allow it to leave my home as I would have felt bereft of a best friend and I could never succumb to using an iron. Basically the reason for this epistle is to thank the manufacturer for making this the best friend of many women and men and bringing into the home the finest product of its kind.

I take my hat off to a kind gentleman who assisted me with an out of stock sewing machine today (28 Feb 2017). After speaking with him, he put may faith back in mankind. I wanted to spend my money with Sewing Machine Sales and no other company simply because I felt the team have been far friendlier, professional and have a kinder attitude than other online sewing companies. Not wanting to sound negative, but have been looking to purchase a sewing machine over the past two weeks and felt rather unsettled and intimidated by a couple of online companies who will remain nameless, but I'd found them quite dismissive of my needs and came across quite abrupt with their one word answer when you spoke over the telephone or liaised in their online chat room. Saddened to say the experience left me feeling flat with a heavy heart. Delighted this is behind me now!!! And what swayed me towards Sewing Machine Sales was a nice gentleman from the Newcastle branch who took time out to listen to my requirements and shared his experience and opinion on the best self threading machine for me. I didn't feel rushed or made to sound stupid for being a novice and beginner to this new arena of sewing. As usual, great service. Delivery always on time. I will continue to order from them, as I know if I am doing a project & then realise that I am running out of cotton etc, I can get some from them the next day. So we will recommend anyone wanting a great service, to place an order.
